Products need to be as immaculate as possible before sending them for a shoot. Any wrinkles or blemish marks will be immediately visible in the photo.

In preparing your product for the photoshoot, pay careful attention to detail eg: where there are bottles or jars, the labels need to be in perfect condition, placed in a straight fashion, with joins on the side.

It is always a good idea to prepare products (especially packaged food products) specifically for the photoshoot.

If your product has’ imperfections’ as part of the appeal, keep in mind that their condition upon arrival, will be visible in the images.

Minor retouching will be carried out as part of the editing process to produce the best results possible but if images need excessive retouching, an extra fee may be incurred.

Let us know that you would like to go ahead with a shoot and we will organise a time for you to drop your products into the studio (products can be sent). A detailed brief form to fill out will be emailed to you so we have a clear overview of what you want.

Once the products arrive in the studio the images should be ready within 3-5 working days. If the shoot is very large or more complex it could be up to 10 working days.

Please note: We will not proceed with the job, until we receive your detailed brief form. This is to ensure clear communication and you are getting what you want.

If however, you a returning customer and your shoots are the same as previous, let us know and we will refer back to your previous briefs.

When your product arrives at our studio, it is put in a ‘job queue’. We endeavour to have jobs finished within 3-5 working days.

If a your products present more complexities or/and have a larger than average amount of items to be photographed it may take longer than 5 days. If this is the case we will let you know.

Delivery:  By appointment, you can deliver your product to the studio in person.

Upon completion of the job, we will send you a PDF proof of the images and invoice.

When you have proofed the images, payment can be deposited into the specified account.

Some products or product packaging will have reflective surfaces. The photographer will control the reflections so they do not take away from the product or over power it but will not totally eliminate them. To do so can make a product look flat and dull. If reflections are an issue for you or you would like no reflection at all, please talk to the photographer about your concerns and how to handle them.

** Please note – Very reflective items such as metal ware, sunglasses, foiled packaging will incur an extra $10 per item fee.

A styled image refers to images that usually include props in the shot as well as the product. They can be flat lay or taken straight on. Clients are expected to provide props and have an idea of what they are wanting. Ultimately, the styling will be done by the photographer based on the guidelines you give in the brief. Styling fee $20-$80.

If you would like to be present in the studio for styled shots so you can be the stylist or direct the shoot…. this is possible. The fee for this is $200 per/hr studio time (min 2hrs) afterward charged at 15min blocks + image costs.
